Just had strange thing happen
I disabled compiz and enabled kwin to see if I had the flickering, no
flickering
Disabled kwin and enabled compiz had a few windows open, could not enter
text in firefox but could in all other open windows
I opened another copy of firefox and had no problems entering text
Still could not in the other copy but could paste
The text I was typing in the other copy ended up in this message
